Travelogue: Day 9 of 11

The Glaswegian skyline. And don't you dare check my spelling.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end… but luckily for us, we’ve got more good things waiting at the end.

Today we have to drag ourselves away from Cringletie House and back to the reality of our larger European vacation… I know it will be difficult, but somehow I think we’ll manage. After basking for a few days (and probably seeing none of Edinburgh proper—guess we’ll have to come back), we’re off to Glasgow for the last major stop of our trip.

A couple of interesting facts about Glasgow: First, as you might expect, folks from Glasgow are called Glaswegians. (We plan not to ask.) Second, for all you Harry Potter fans out there, the patron saint of this city is St. Mungo (a.k.a. St. Kentigern), which proves that everything else in those books must also be real.

Obviously.
